Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact me at db@dovenbrezner.com or call me 267-338-3394  if you cannot find an answer to your question.

You have two options.  The first is to schedule a free 15- to 20-minute consultation.  The consultation provides you with an opportunity to meet me and get a sense of whether you would be comfortable working with me.  The second option is to schedule a session with me.

You can choose! I offer Telehealth, in-person, or a hybrid approach.  For telehealth, I use a HIPPA-compliant platform.  In-person sessions are conducted at my office, which is located at Whitemarsh Learning Center, which is located about 7 minutes outside of Chestnut Hill on Bethlehem Pike.  (To keep this short and sweet, the specific address with a corresponding map is listed on the contact page of this site.)

I have varied blocks of time available during the work week in order to accommodate requests for morning, afternoon, or evening appointments.

Your frequency of sessions with me will depend on your individual needs and goals.  With outpatient therapy, typically clients benefit from weekly sessions, which are approximately 50 minutes long.  As therapy goals are achieved, some clients move to bi-weekly or monthly.

You can find information on the insurance I accept, my fee, and my sliding scale policy by scrolling down to the next section of this page, which is titled" Payment Options."

No Surprises Act

If you are not using insurance, you are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your care under the No Surprises Act. The estimate is based on the anticipated frequency and duration of services and does not require you to continue treatment for a particular length of time. Additional information is provided in the intake documents, and I am available to answer questions about anticipated fees.  Consumers | CMS (https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises/consumers
