Therapy for understanding, steadiness, and meaningful change.

Hormonal changes can interact with mental health, sleep, stress, physical symptoms, relationships, caregiving demands, work, identity, and preexisting vulnerabilities. For some people, this period also brings the return or intensification of anxiety, depression, irritability, emotional overwhelm, cognitive concerns, trauma-related symptoms, or a sense of no longer feeling like themselves.
I am a BRIA Certified Perimenopause & Menopause Mental Health Provider. This specialized training informs my understanding of the relationship among hormonal change, emotional health, life context, identity, relationships, and existing mental health concerns.
Therapy can help you understand what you are experiencing, develop strategies for emotional and relational concerns, make informed decisions, advocate for your needs, and navigate the wider changes occurring during this phase of life.
Psychotherapy does not replace medical evaluation or treatment. With your permission, I can support communication and coordination with your medical providers when clinically appropriate.
